The other night, Roand keeps waking up and is crying because he’s itchy all over. I can’t help but cry too. I feel sorry for him. And I feel guilty so I kept saying sorry to him. We were both crying and I was praying that his blisters would stop itching and heal fast so he could get enough sleep. I kept telling him how sorry I was, that I will never forget another vaccination schedule and to make it up to him I promised I will bring him to the arcade and he’ll ride the mini-carousel that he likes so much.
